Colour means organisation
Every count says whose it is. An organisation keeps its hue in every view, so you read the board without reading the labels. Red is reserved for overdue.
It degrades honestly
Pages read the newest stored snapshot, so an outage does not blank the screen. The status line says how long ago the data was synced, a workspace that failed reads "unreachable:" with its reason, and a source the snapshot never reached says so: "GitHub not in this snapshot".

Pulse shows which organisation is moving and which has gone quiet, and the Today tab counts what you owe. Open the detail only when the overview says to.
